Christine Sukhbir Kaur Collins had a total connection with the infinite as far back as 6. She would spend hours after school in the neighborhood church by herself just chatting it up with god.
As years passed and her schedule became filled with extracurricular activities and sports those solo visits became view and far between.
Sukhbir then ventured on to college facing the more grueling realities of life. This lead her to choices that were not representative of her true spirit, that was until she stumbled upon kundalini yoga in 1999. It was there she began to see the powerful effects this yoga had on her ability to find the self confidence and strength that was needed to fulfill her dreams.
Since that point Sukhbir has continued to immerse herself in teacher trainings and her own personal practice. Because of the powerful changes it has made in her life she has found it important to commit her heart to the growth and expansion of deep and its incredible community.
Aside from owning deep sukhbir Kaur is a warrior of peace, lover of all beings, a dancing machine, owner of two crazy canines, fan of reggae music, fancies the colors orange and turquoise and is passionately committed to peace on this planet!

Rachel has been practicing yoga since 2000 and teaching since 2001. Arriving to Sacramento from Boston with chronic back problems and a false concept of yoga, both were quickly changed after she took a hot yoga class and became hooked. Rather than being a hippie gentle stretching class as she had feared, hot yoga challenged her physically and mentally. For the first year Rachel studied in several different Bikram studios in Sacramento and the Bay area.
She kept running into people who asked her when she was going to start teaching and she would laugh and usually say "maybe in ten years," but fate wasn't listening to her response and she got phone call from a studio owner in Sacramento who told her that she was supposed to be the new teacher, and started teaching a week later. After an in house training at Yoga Loka, Rachel participated in a 200 hour Ashtanga training, teacher training levels one and two with Baron Baptiste as well as numerous workshops. Rachel now teaches primarily Baptiste style power yoga, some Bikram yoga and Yin yoga (more of the gentle stretching style yoga she thought would bore her).

Julie began doing yoga in 1993 and developed a regular practice that eventually led to Yoga Teacher Training in 1999. She has met the 500 hour requirements at Ananda in Nevada City, CA. Coursework included Meditation Teacher Training, Advanced Pranayam, Study of the Bhagavad Gita and Patanjali's Sutras, as well as Restorative and Adaptive Yoga. She has had an optimal recovery and credits yoga for this outcome.
Her teaching style is gentle and affirmative. Holding an MS in Psychology from California State University Chico, Julie is registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, and sees clients at HOPE Counseling Center in Curtis Park.

Daljit's love of kundalini yoga began over six years ago. Having been born into an Indian Sikh Family, discovering kundalini yoga has been a homecoming of sorts for me. Though I did not grow up doing yoga, the Kundalini Yoga mantras are familair to me from my childhood and I find a certain peace and solidity in them. Daljit completed her Level I teacher training at Golden Bridge Yoga in Los Angeles in May 2007 and is excited to be teaching in Sacramento. Daljit has a special interest in doing sets which focus on removing blocks, fears and obstacles from our paths. She is excited to share the transformative powers of Kundalini Yoga as she has seen many transformations occur in her own life with a dedication to this practice.
