Deep Tissue Bodywork
This session is an hour long and with work done only on the trouble areas, such as neck, shoulder, low back. This massage may include light pressure on some trigger points, depending on how the body is reacting. May include hot or cold packs.
60 min: $65
I like to work with clients through a series of visits, preferably weekly. If you choose to book a series of 4 – Deep Tissue Bodywork sessions, the price will be $50/ session. Each week we will discuss the progress you’re experiencing, and talk about what I’d like to work on for each session. I’ll also show you stretches that you can do on your own to help loosen up the trouble areas. Once the chronic pain has minimized, a maintenance session once or twice a month should keep you feeling your best.
Series of 4 – 60 min D.T. Bodywork sessions: $50/ea
Customized Massage
This massage can be full body with a focus on trouble areas, with a combination of relaxation and therapeutic techniques. Each session is customized to your individual needs. Pressure can range from light to deep. This full body massage includes face, scalp, hand and feet if you prefer. I will combine Swedish massage with other modalities such as shiatsu and myofacial release.
60 min: $65
90 min: $90
120 min: $115
Reflexology
This massage focuses on hands and feet. Reflexology is an ancient Chinese therapy that involves manipulation of specific reflex areas in the hands and feet that correspond with other parts of the body. Reflexology is used to reduce pain, increase relaxation and stimulate circulation.
30 min: $40
Sports
Pre-event, Post-event or maintenance sessions. I will focus on the areas that are used most during your activity. The massage includes numerous stretches, so I’d prefer you to wear shorts during the session. (short enough to allow me to work your hamstrings and quads)
60 min: $65
Prenatal
A very relaxing session with focus on any trouble areas. The client will be side-lying using pillows for comfort and support.
90 min: $90
(Bio)
I’ve always had a passion for helping people, and making them feel relaxed. Becoming a Massage Therapist had been my dream for many years, and in 2007 I graduated from massage school, and received my national certification. I have currently performed over 1700 massages, and have experience working in a spa, wellness center and health club. I recently moved back to Sacramento after spending a year in Austin, Tx. While in Austin I had the opportunity to work closely with a few therapists who have been practicing for 20 – 30 years. The knowledge they shared with me is priceless.
My massage technique combines very relaxing strokes with deeper therapeutic work. I specialize in Deep Tissue Bodywork and Pain Management. It has been so rewarding to witness countless clients benefit from regular massage. I work closely with clients to help them regain a greater range of motion in joints and minimize muscular pain they may have been experiencing for years. I can’t imagine a more rewarding career than to be able to help people and teach them about natural healing.
I’m currently working on my bachelors degree in Natural Health, with my goal to eventually get my PhD. Natural Health teaches the benefits of helping our bodies heal naturally rather than using pharmaceutical drugs. Regular massage and good nutrition are two important ways to keep our bodies healthy.
